DOES JSTARS DEMISE SPELL THE END FOR AIRBORNE ISR?

The USAF dropped the JSTARS replacement because it was becoming too vulnerable to modern air defences. But wouldn’t the same problem apply to other recce platforms like Global Hawk, Rivet Joint and Sentinel?
